Music Instruction
Have you always wanted to learn how to play a musical instrument? Do you wish you could brush up on your musical skill or want to read music? Consider hiring a private instructor for that special one on one instruction. I have experience with young children and adults alike. Each individual learns and progresses at his or her own pace resulting in a fun, relaxed learning environment. I see 40+ private students each week, producing solid harpists, violinists and pianists for the future. I'm a member of the following associations: Decatur Area Music Teachers
Assoc. (DAMTA), Music Teachers National Assoc (MTNA), the Il State Music
Teachers Assoc. (ISMTA), and the American Harp Society (AHS). This makes my students eligible for the AIM program as well as several contests and master classes.
I offer yearly recitals and contests for my students. My string players may join the studio ensemble group as well. Theory, Technique, & Performance are regular subjects covered in a lesson.
Piano Lessons: $20 per 1/2 hour
Violin Lessons: $20 per 1/2 hour
Harp Lessons: $25 per 1/2 hour
I have been teaching for 15+ years. My students either come to my studio downtown Sullivan, IL or I travel to them for an extra fee.
